View from Entry Court By creating a perspective from comparable points in plan, pairs of images show the differing effects of time on two great Roman baths.  While the Baths of Diocletian has been used and appropriated into any number of buildings and spaces still used today, the Baths of Caracalla are preserved in a ruin state as a monument in and of themselves that tourists visit as relics of the past.
